FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER MY VEHICLE? COST?

NO. Simply arrive at the entrance of Kelowna City Park between the hours
of 7:00 AM and 11:00 on Sunday, 12 September. Parking attendants will be
on site to assist you in the placement of your vehicle. There is no vehicle registration fee – vehicle and driver enter free. A donation would be appreciated for additional passengers. Any motorized vehicle is welcome.

2. IS THERE A MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VEHICLES PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE?

NO. The participation field is unlimited. Entries in past years have averaged
1,000 vehicles and over 10,000 people in attendance.

3. ONCE VEHICLE IS ON DISPLAY, MUST I STAY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY?

YES. Due to parking logistics and limited access, exit will not be permitted until 4:00 PM.

4. WILL I BE PERMITTED TO PARK WITH MY CAR CLUB / GROUP?

YES, IF YOU ARRIVE AS A GROUP / CLUB. We are unable to reserve
spots and encourage groups / clubs to arrive as soon as possible and we
will position you accordingly.

5. CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Kelowna City Park is a “no dog” park but there is no ruling about your pet being left in the vehicle.

6. PRICE OF PUBLIC ADMISSION?

Public admission is $3.00 / person. Children under 12 are free. Family rate
(4 or more persons) is $12.00. Gate proceeds donated to local charities.

7. IS THERE ANYWHERE TO EAT BREAKFAST, LUNCH….BEER GARDENS?

Various food vendors will be on site including breakfast foods, hotdogs, hamburgers, pizzas, perogies , ice cream etc. There is no beer garden.
Local restaurants are located a short walking distance from City Park.

8. WHO SHOULD I CALL TO BOOK ACCOMMODATIONS?

9. AM I PERMITTED TO DISPLAY A “FOR SALE” SIGN?

YES. But “for sale” signs should be no larger than 4” x 6”. Pre made
“for sale” signs are available at the registration desk upon request.

10. ARE THERE TROPHIES AND DOOR PRIZES?

YES. Trophies are awarded for various categories and numerous door prizes.

12. WHAT IF IT RAINS?

This event will take place on Sunday, September 12 rain or shine….pray for
Shine!! In 2003, the show did go on despite Kelowna’s fire situation and the
early morning downpour.
